Mayor Fornelli was elected in 2019 and is serving his first two-year term.
John began his career with the city in 1997 as a volunteer firefighter and police dispatcher. He worked in many different areas of the city, from police dispatch all the way up to Police Chief, six years as Fire Chief, four years as Director of Public Safety, and since September of 2019, City Administrator. John attended Frontenac schools and earned a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University.
Jayme began her career with the city in 2010 as Municipal Court Clerk. Jayme worked as Interim City Clerk before accepting the position full-time in 2019. Jayme attended Frontenac schools and earned a bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University.
Public Works Director
Brian has worked for Frontenac Public Works since 2004 and was promoted to Public Works Director in 2014. Brian graduated from Pittsburg High School and joined the Army before earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Pittsburg State University.
Cody began his law enforcement career in Pittsburg, KS. He joined the Frontenac Police Department in 2011 and was promoted to Sergeant before his promotion to Police Chief in 2019. Cody graduated from Stanton County High School in Johnson, KS and later earned a degree in Criminal Justice.
Jim began as a Frontenac volunteer firefighter in 1988 while working as an electronic technician and in sales. In 2015, he became full-time Fire Captain. Jim attended Girard High School and has a Bachelor of Science from Pittsburg State University.
