The Frontenac City Council meets on the First Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and the Third Monday of each month at 12:00 p.m. Members of the community are invited to attend.

Frontenac is divided into four wards. Each ward is represented by two council members.

Chief Flora requested that the City revisit the animal control ordinance to increase fees.

Approved boring a sewer line for two new businesses in the North Indistrial Park.

Approved the ballot measure to put the 1/4 cent sales tax on the April ballot.

Chief Flora recommended additional street lighting on Wilson Street.

Council discussed the transfer of funds to cover the lack of reserves.

Council discussed the new stop sign at Labette & Shawger.

Council discussed the need for street lights on Wilson St.

Council discussed the findings of the Finance Committee and the recommendation to split the utility maintenance fee between the Water and Sewer departments. The council also discussed the recommendation to put a 1/4 cent sales tax on the ballot.

CMB licenses were approved for several businesses.
