Thanks to the citizens of Frontenac, the Fire Department and Police Department are now housed together in a brand new building. This addition is a great achievement not only to us but to the citizens of Frontenac. Now Police and Fire can work together, faster, more economically, and more efficiently than before. Along with the new building addition, the Dispatch center has received a new state of the art dispatch console, allowing for quicker and more clear communications between personnel. The Fire Department has received an additional two truck bays, as well as a training room, and a meeting room among other additions. The Police department also was given all new offices, a garage to house the patrol cars, an evidence room, as well as a safe room. Both departments are sharing the upstairs space of the building that is set up as a weight training area. This is a major step to bringing the city of Frontenac the best fire and police protection that you have depended on in years past and will depend on for years to come. Thank you for the support! |
