Recent Fire Calls

Welcome to the Frontenac Volunteer Fire Department's website. Our group of dedicated firefighters stand ready to assist our neighbors and friends in their time of need. Originally organized in 1886 to provide fire protection for the town of Frontenac, Kansas, and area coal mines, today's group of volunteers are trained in the latest fire rescue techniques and emergency response procedures.

Our team of volunteers are honored to uphold a rich tradition of service that people count on in our community 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.

If you have any questions or comments about the Frontenac Volunteer Fire Department, please see our Contact Us and the Frequently Asked Questions page.

IMPORTANT!

A study has shown that smoke detectors are not as effective as a parents voice when awaking them at night.
